Fresh Start 2025

Welcome to our JESUS year! We give God praise and glory for His enduring mercies that continually sustain us. By His grace, we find ourselves in 2025 with an opportunity to fulfill His purposes for our lives.

The right way to start a year is in fellowship with God. With the blessing of a new year, we need to seek God’s face for the journey ahead. As we do, He will plant His will in our hearts and also, answer the requests we place before Him.

FRESH START is ICGC’s annual call to prayer with which we begin a new year. It is a 21-day period of prayer, designed to help us start the year on a strong spiritual note, preparing us to walk in step with God, and to stay in His purposes throughout the year.

This year, God is calling us to turn our attention to Himself. He has always been the center of attraction. The whole story of creation, life, purpose and humanity began with God. The first verse of scripture summarizes it – In the beginning God… (Genesis 1:1). As we explore the theme of God’s person, presence and power, we will stand in awe of the consuming focus of our worship.

This year, God is calling us to focus our attention on our Lord Jesus Christ. He is at the centre of our faith as Christians and was present at the very beginning of our world. John 1:1 summarizes it – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. As we explore the theme of Christ’s person, presence and power, may we be drawn closer to Him.

Fresh Start this year starts from Monday, 13th January 2025 and ends on Sunday, 2nd February 2025.

There will also be in-person prayer services at the ICGC Faith & Miracle Temple and all ICGC assemblies every weekday from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. You are warmly invited to join us for these daily corporate prayers.

In-person prayer services will be held at ICGC local assemblies every evening from Monday to Friday at scheduled times. A Fresh Start All-Night prayer service will be held on Friday 31st January from 10pm – 4:30am at all ICGC assemblies. Join an assembly near you and participate with others in corporate prayer in this season.

Prayer guide has been purposefully prepared to guide our prayers within the period. There are themes for each day with accompanying prayer points drawn from these daily themes.
