our stewards
Our Stewards, also referred to as Service Managers are Holy Spirit-filled, committed, and innovative volunteers mandated to brainstorm, plan, organise, and execute our services.
Due to the perculiar nature of the work of our Stewards, they report directly to our Pastor.
Additionally, our Stewards perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Pastor in drafting annual programs for the year.
- Plan and execute each program contained in the Annual Program.
- Liaise with the various departments to perform their duties effectively on each service day and any church activities.
- Conduct research on various issues pertaining to the growth of the Church.
- Received feedback from members and where appropriate implement them.
- We monitor the church environment i.e. The washrooms and general cleaning of the Church environment.
- Report directly to the Head Pastor and where necessary liaise with the Deacons Board.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Head Pastor.
To ensure the efficient and effective discharge of their duties and responsibilities, the group is fragmented into the following teams:
events & programs team
- Serves as the eye of Stewards monitoring our yearly program and prompts stewards to plan the programs.
- Be the lead team of Stewards in the planning and execution of programs and events.
- Organize logistics and draw budget for our programs and events.
- Organize the personnel (human resource), departments, or ministries playing key roles in a program or an event.
- Liaise between Stewards and the standing committees of Breakthrough Festival, BOW, Flaming Feet, Pastor’s Appreciation Day, Crossover, Evangelism (Soul Week, 21-Day Of Reach) and other program committees that will be constituted in the future, to plan and execute those respective programs and events.
- Liaise with our Production Team to ensure we offer better online services.
research, statistics & innovations team
- Conduct research on matters affecting our church as directed by Pastor, Deacons Board, Stewards, or by the team’s leadings.
- Serve as Stewards’ hub of all data relating to our in-person attendance (main services, youth services & children’s services) and first-time attendees.
- Conduct thorough statistical quarterly analysis of the data on our attendance (main services, youth services & children’s services) and present report to the house. This includes our weekday services.
- Conduct thorough statistical quarterly analysis of the data on our first-time visitors and present a report to the house.
- Serves as the eye of Stewards monitoring the policy direction of the church in a particular year.
- Propose new ideas and trends to better or improve our services.
environmental & sanitation team
- Serves as the eye of Stewards monitoring our auditorium and washrooms to ensure that they are in better condition.
- Liaise with Finance Office to ensure logistics are available for janitors or cleaners.
spiritual & capacity-building team
- Propose programs aimed at building the capacity of Stewards.
- Responsible for the planning and execution of programs aimed at building Stewards’ capacity-wise and spiritually.
welfare & entertainment team
- Responsible for the management of the welfare scheme of Stewards.
- Propose entertainment or recreational programs for stewards.
- Responsible for planning and executing entertainment programs for stewards.
