40 days of power

It is that special time of the year again when we set ourselves apart to seek the Lord through fasting and prayer – it is time for 40 Days of Power. This is a sacred season for the members of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) and many Christians across various denominations, that participate in this 40-day period of seeking God’s face in a corporate fast.

The theme for ICGC in 2026 is “Kingdom”, anchored on Acts 2:42. Throughout this year, our focus is on living out the values and principles of God’s Kingdom through devotion to His Word, fellowship, prayer, and discipleship. This season of consecration is a divine opportunity to deepen our commitment to Kingdom living and to align ourselves with God’s purpose. As we steadfastly pursue His Kingdom, the Holy Spirit will empower us to grow in faith, unity, and spiritual maturity. As the Scripture declares, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers” (Acts 2:42). As we dedicate ourselves to these Kingdom foundations, there will be a fresh outpouring of grace, spiritual growth, unity, and divine empowerment as we pray and walk in faith.

This year’s 40 Days of Power begins from Thursday, 25th June 2026, and ends on Monday, 3th August 2026. Throughout this period, we will spend time praying about our personal lives, our families, the church, and the nations of the world.

Various ICGC assemblies will host in-person prayer services. You are welcome to visit any assembly for personal prayer or to join others in corporate prayer at various advertised service times.

For each Saturday during 40 Days of Power, we will have Revival Services of heartfelt worship, fervent prayer, and life-changing word from seasoned ministers of the Gospel.

We will conclude the event with our annual conference, Greater Works, from Monday, 3th August, 2026, through to Friday, 7th August, 2026. This conference is a pinnacle moment where we gather to celebrate God's goodness, receive powerful teachings, and experience a deeper outpouring of His Spirit.

To support everyone during this event, there will be a prayer guide that provides weekly themes and daily subthemes with accompanying scriptures to serve as biblical foundations on which we pray with faith in God’s word.
